Bell Bottom Babe.

I can't remember the last time I wore anything close to "flare legged" jeans.
I'm not sure what came over me when I was shopping online & decided
that I just HAD to have these jeans, but I'm definitely not regretting it.
I am in L.O.V.E.

Over the weekend my mamaw gave Kyle an outback steakhouse gift card
for his [really late] birthday present!
Kyle and I LOVE to go out to dinner, but it's not too good for our bank account.
We love to get appetizers, drinks, dinner & sometimes even dessert.
It's impossible for us to just get the meal.
Therefore it's ALWAYS expensive.
Since we are trying to save up for a new home we really havent been doing much lately.
So we were PUMPED to be able to go out!

We get there and order ourselves some drinks and the famous "Bloomin' Onion"
If you havent heard of it, it's famous for being one of the most high calorie appetizers that ever lived.
Obviously I was going all out for date night, because I definitely inhaled 2 loaves
of bread while we were waiting for the food.
I'm glad I did because the salad and food werent all that great.
Outback is one of our favorite places, we would go regularly when we
lived in San Antonio.
But the one we went to here just wasntttttttt good, at all.
But hey at least we still got to have a night out together!

I'm beyond ready for the weekend.
I've just been feeling so exhausted, especially after last weekends shenanigans.
Thank you Lordddddddd it's FRIDAY!
<3 <3 <3
Have a great weekend ladies!!

Weekend Trips and Home Invasions Part II

After florating the river we all headed back to the house
to stuff our faces and get ready for the wedding!

Dress: Tobi.com
Wedges: Tillys.com
Necklace: LuLus.com

The wedding was beautiful and VERY warm.
Needless to say we were all very sweaty and very exhausted.
Us 4 ended up leaving after dinner was served.
We got back to the house and did a whole lot of nothing.
Omg I just realized I forgot to mention my new BFF Penelope!
We met her the minute we got there and I fell in love.
she was so precious.

Anyways, we got home, fed some deer, then all relaxed until my parents got back.

They didnt get home till about 10 and we were all SO exhausted.
We were all leaving in the morning, My parents, Tara & Jonathan were going ziplining
and Kyle and I were going to one of my best friends little girls 2nd birthday party.

The night was going well until Kyle received a call, he didnt answer and then
the same number started calling my phone.
He got a voicemail while they were calling me and he listened and it was the
alarm company, so he immediately answered my phone.
The alarm company was calling letting us know our alarm was going off,
and were seeing if everything was okay.
I immediately panic.
We had them dispatch the police and anxiously waited for them to call back.

About 30 minutes later we received a call from an Officer Evans.
By this point I was shaking and anxious and praying for the best.
I am already a paranoid person & always think someone is trying to murder me.
(thanks to criminal minds, CSI, The Following...etc.)
We were hoping and praying that it was a false alarm.
As I was sitting there I was just waiting to see Kyles face make some kind of
obvious reaction to what the officer was saying.
Kyle was SO calm.
And then Kyle repeats the officer and says
"So they kicked the front door down?"
I immediately burst into tears.
I felt fear, anger, sadness, and so many other emotions.
I know these kinds of things happen all the time but you never really think it will happen to you.
And well, I didnt take it so well.
The officers were walking through the house, going through every room
so Kyle could let them know what he thinks was stolen.
As far as we could tell they only took my laptop.
Which kind of breaks my heart.
I have always taken my laptop EVERY where I go.
It has so many memories, special notes, pictures etc.
I had literally deleted everything off my phone the day we left and dumped it onto my laptop.
The only reason I didnt take it with me is because a few days ago Kyle had spilled
a little water on it and it was running slower, so we were going to take it to the apple store
as soon as we got back.

I think what I was most upset about is that I was finally staring to consider this place home.
It took me a while but it was finally starting to happen,
but now I literally cant wait to get out of here.
The scary thing is whoever did it must have been watching our house for a while to know
we were out of town.
Oh and did I mention they broke in at 9pm?!
WHO does that? Our neighborhood is VERY busy and we are right by the entrance
to the neighborhood.
The whole thing seriously just blows my mind.
Needless to say I've been extra paranoid lately.
I'm upset about my laptop and other things being taken but beyond grateful
that me, Kyle or charley werent there to experience the break in.
It could have been SO much worse so I am SO grateful that it wasnt.

What also blows my mind is that we have stickers and signs that we have an
alarm system posted ALL over the house AND front door.
Ugh I dont know the whole thing just makes me feel uneasy.

We are going out of our way to make sure it wont happen again though.
The bastards are lucky we werent here because they wouldve gotten
a bullet or 3 in the chest REAL quick.

Anyways, thank goodness we are renting this house and we arent stuck here.
and thank goodness it wasnt any worse.
Just pray for us because it's definitely not a good feeling knowing a
criminal was recently in your home going through your personal items,
 it's terrifying actually.

Prayers are MUCH appreciated.

Weekend Trips and Home Invasions Part I

Top: Dainty Hooligan
Shorts: Zumiez (empyre)
Sandals: LuLus.com

This weekend we headed to the New Braunfels area to watch my cousin get married!
My family rented an adorable lake house (that we thought was on the lake)
We got there and the house was beautiful, but we were MAJORLY bummed
when we discovered the lake was actually 30 minutes away...
Talk about disappointing.
But we still had a wonderful time!
We went to the Gristmill for dinner as a family the first night.

My parents got there later so they didnt make it in time for the photo-op.
It was sooooo delicious, and the weather was pretty nice!

The next day us kids decided to float the river in the morning before the wedding.

We went on the 2.5 hour float and it was PERFECT.
We had so much fun and the weather was beyond great,
a little family bonding time never hurt no one!
<3

Tomorrow I'll share some pre-wedding [outfit] pics and the home invasion story...

Blogging withdrawals, puppy lovin', housewife boredom, and baby fever.
The words above pretty much sum up my life completely.
Although I left out my husband, and how much I love him.
But y'all already know that!

In case you haven't noticed I tend to forget to blog OFTEN.
When I'm not blogging I always know I'm going to regret not documenting certain things
for me to look back on, but hey that's what memories are for!
Duh, you gotta let your brain do all the work sometimes.

I really wish I had the motivation to blog every single day like I used too,
I guess I never realized that owning a business, being a fur mom,
and being a "house wife" was SO much work!
But boy do I love it all.

Ever since we've had our sweet little pup Charley I've gotten SO maternal.
I absolutely love taking care of her and getting to spend my whole day with her.
Being at home most of the day can get a little boring but she definitely keeps things
interesting for me!
Most people get a puppy and see how much work it is and want to wait even
longer to have children…I on the other hand feel SO ready.
I can't wait to have little babes that look like Kyle & I running around.
I know the timing isn't right, Kyle wants to wait about a year or so,
until we have our own house and are really settled in.
And I totally agree with him, I just get bored around the house sometimes and feel
like I need 7 babies to take care of….
maybe not 7…you get the point though.
I've already been religiously looking up adorable baby names,
and I may or may not have a running list of my favorites.
Hey, at least i'll be prepared for when the time comes! ;]

Married life is so much fun, It really isn't any different
except that I get to have a sleep over with my bestie/lover every night
and every now and then he gets on to me about being a messy teeth brusher.
Kyle is actually out of town right now for work,
he goes out of town every now and then and I'm not too fond of it.
He left last Saturday morning and I'm picking him up this Saturday!
That's wayyyyy too long for me, I don't know how long distance people do it.
Charley is REALLY missing her daddy, she's going to be SO excited to see him!

Have a wonderful Wednesday pretty girls!!
