Saturday was spent showering this beautiful bride to be with gifts.

Halloween 2015 Part II

Saturday night a group of us headed to the Houston Museum of Natural Science for their

annual Halloween Party!

If this wasn't the greatest idea I've ever had.. then, HELL I don't know what is...

Claire and I LOVED being Taco twins for the night!

Kyle has never been one for costumes but he was a good sport 

and represented 'Merica pretty dang well.

Such a handsome little devil.

Not going to lie, It was slightly weird and crazy being in the middle of a museum partying...

Everyone LOVED mine and Claire's costumes, these 'best friend' hats are definitely one of the 

best purchases i've ever made.

We met up with my sister and brother in law and a group of their friends, 

and I'm SO sad we didn't get any pictures with them!

It was definitely hard keeping up with everyone and trying to stay together in such a huge place.

If you live in Houston I would HIGHLY recommend going next year, 

we had so much fun!!

Halloween 2015 Part I

This Halloween was definitely one for the books.

Kyle and I really haven't done anything for Halloween since college
 so we were WAY overdue for a little fun.

We had plans for Saturday but my best friend Claire and I felt the urge to troll the town Friday night.
So...Vampires it was!

We had THE best night.

Claire is one of those friends where you can literally be sitting in a dumpster, starving, naked, in 20 degree weather and you will still be having the best time of your life.

She definitely makes this life of mine WAY brighter.

We headed to midtown and met up with Kyle's cousin & his girlfriend for a little bit.

Then continued roaming the streets and being constantly asked if we were twins,

to which we of course replied with "duh, how'd ya know?!"

We get that question pretty regularly, and we kind of love it.
Friday was lots of fun, I'll never get sick of girls nights no matter how old I get...
But SATURDAY is when the real party happened...

This past weekend was totally all about wine.

Saturday was spent doing a little winery hopping BUT we had to stop and get lunch before...

and Y'ALL!!!

We ran into the nicest biker gang EVER and they were seriously so awesome and sweet.

One of the ladies even offered to take pictures of all of us on her bike! 

After our mini photoshoot we headed to a winery to get the day started!

And goodness was it stunning!

It was seriously THE perfect day!

Getaway Weekend with the Girrrrrls

Can we talk about how cute these hats are?!

I scored them off this website and I'm SO glad I caved in and bought them.

Long car rides with your bff always result in ridiculous photo shoots and music videos.

You all should consider yourselves lucky that I'm not posting the videos we took.

One of Claire's bridesmaids was nice enough to offer all of us the weekend

 at her in laws house in Boerne, after about a 4 hour trip we FINALLY made it.

And goshhhhhh it was purtyyy!

It only took about 10 minutes for us all to bust open the champagne and 

start getting ready for the day!

Weekends are my favorite.

Friday night Kyle and I had a little double date action with my best friend Claire and her fiancé Brett.

The night was flowing with margaritas and queso and boy oh boy do I live for nights like those.

Nothing makes me happier than knowing that one night of bad food isn't going to ruin all of my progress.

Thank God for good friends and long weekends.

Friends, sun, and water.

Well, I'm a terrible blogger.

I'm about 2 weeks late on sharing this but whatever.

Some of our good friends came to visit a couple weekends ago, 

and we had the best time ever!

They brought their dog, Bailey, and of course their daughter, Avery.

[Whom we adore and want to keep.]

It was so great because Charley and Bailey are the best of friends.

They were side by side the entire weekend.

Could they be any cuter?!

And I think Avery formed a little crush on Kyle, 

gosh it was the sweetest thing to watch them interact,

Ummmm talk about baby fever, that weekend just made it 10x worse!

Avery recently turned 2, and she is SO well behaved!

She is unbelievably precious and she is about to have a little brother at the end of September!!

We decided to head to the beach the last day they were here and it was a blast.

This was the first time I've been a "real" hostess in our home!
It was actually not too stressful, not stressful at all really!

Obviously, I stressed about cooking for other people but it wasn't bad at all!
We may or may not have had take out chinese 2 days in a row....

I did cook at least 1 meal [if not more] each day though,
which is a big deal for this girl.

I will get better at cooking one day...well it's not really that I need to get better,
I just need to be more confident about cooking!
Anyone have some fabulous cooking tips?!
I could use all the help I can get in that area!
