Kaase Gets Cozy

Well, May 27th was pretty much the prettiest day e.v.e.r.

My sister in law got married in her fiancé's families lake house backyard
and it was unbelievably stunning.

The day started out with hair & makeup of course,
oh and lots and lots of pigs in a blanket.
Oh, and mimosas!

I was so obsessed with the wedding colors,
each bridesmaid got to choose her own dress and the colors looks so beautiful together.

The boys looked SO handsome as well, 

I couldn't get over how cutie Kyle was in those suspenders.

The ceremony was short and soso sweet.
The entire day flew by wayyyy too fast.

It was such a beautiful day, for an even more beautiful couple.
So excited for them to start this next chapter as husband and wife. 

Mummies and Rollerblading

Work has been a tad slow lately so I decided to take a "personal day" on Saturday.

The weather was perfect - therefore my girlfriend Maggie & I took full advantage.

I mean, What's better than a little champagne & rollerblading?

Before we went rollerblading we had a little picnic in the back of her car,

A few snacks - mostly champagne.

The Houston Museum of Natural Science had a Mummy exhibit going on that we decided to go to!

Now if i'm being honest, we were both a tad disappointed,

it was cool while it lasted, but unfortunately there just wasn't much to look at at the exhibit,

the mummies that we saw were very cool - I guess we were just hoping to see more!

After the exhibit we hopped on over back to the car for more snacks [champagne]

and that's when the party really started....

I really wish it wasn't such a pain for me to upload videos on to here because y'all...

We were SO embarrassing. 

I haven't laughed so hard in a REALLY long time, 

there was one point where I started to fall and grabbed her arm and took her down with me...

we both sat on the ground awkwardly silent laughing for a good 5 minutes 

and I may or may not have peed a little. 

After the blading it was time for lunch, so we headed to brown bag deli for a nice big sandwich!

and then frozen yogurt afterwards of course....

Weekends are totally my favorite. 

Sneaky Weekend Away.

Kyle and I have been nonstop lately!

I feel like every single weekend there is something going on, 

which definitely isn't a bad thing, but SHEESH we are tired!!

A couple weeks ago my step mother in law called me and shared some super exciting news with me!

Taryn, Kyles step sister was getting ENGAGED the following weekend and it was a big secret.

So this past weekend Kyle and I headed to the Rio Grande Valley for the surprise!

We got there late Friday evening and didnt have plans until Saturday night!

We spent Saturday at the ranch with Kevin (Kyle's cousin)

I've been dying to shoot my gun lately & Charley got to run her little heart out, 

so it was kind of the perfect afternoon.

We spent the afternoon outdoors at the ranch and then at the pool,

and THEN we got ready for the big surprise...

After we got settled in on Friday

 we all got dressed and opened a bottle of champagne to kick off the celebration

of girls weekend!

I brought my selfie stick and I think it's safe to say that Claire was THRILLED about it.

hahaha this may be my favorite picture of the entire weekend.

Our first stop was Boerne Wine Co.

We all did a little wine tasting and ate WAY too many of their "pallet cleansing" nuts...

Which were ridiculously delicious by the way. I totally wanted to throw a handful in my purse,

you know like "that one" grandma you have always does. 

But I refrained.

Our next stop was The Dodging Duck...and boy oh boy did they have some good food.

I opted for one of their lighter options on the menu.

HA! Definitely wasn't mad about this tower of nachos in front of me.
They were SO good.

It was definitely a fun night.
After eating we headed back to the house for some more girl time and a little swimming.

Getaway Weekend with the Girrrrrls

Can we talk about how cute these hats are?!

I scored them off this website and I'm SO glad I caved in and bought them.

Long car rides with your bff always result in ridiculous photo shoots and music videos.

You all should consider yourselves lucky that I'm not posting the videos we took.

One of Claire's bridesmaids was nice enough to offer all of us the weekend

 at her in laws house in Boerne, after about a 4 hour trip we FINALLY made it.

And goshhhhhh it was purtyyy!

It only took about 10 minutes for us all to bust open the champagne and 

start getting ready for the day!

Weekend Re-Cap

Sheesh I am WAY behind on blogging...

I guess that's what happens when you have 2 businesses and 2 vacations coming up!

Life has totally gotten in the way but I'm not too mad about it because I can honestly 

say that I LOVE my jobs.

Not this past weekend but the one before I had a mini photo shoot

 for my boutique at my parents house!

After our little photoshoot I wiped off my makeup, threw on my swimsuit,

and we all enjoyed some family time by the pool.

Now that we moved a little North we are WAY closer to my sister and brother in law,

and we get to see them way more often which is a MAJOR plus! 

Kyle and I had been planning on having a date night Friday

 and then my brother in law texted me asking if we all wanted to get together 

for dinner and margaritas! 

Well, DUH!

So a double date night it was!! 

I'm going to be REAL honest for a minute and y'all can judge all you want...

because hell, I would judge too.

So there were 4 of us total...

we ordered THREE large quesos and devoured every single one before the night ended!!!! 

Of course we didn't order them all at once...

hahaha oh my gosh we were all in shock and so grossed out with ourselves at the end of the night.
The waiter was definitely confused and probably a tad worried.
I think it's safe to say I won't be craving queso for a while!

My body was not too thrilled with my food choices this weekend
and I'm going to be at a beach all day Friday and Saturday so i'm thinking
about doing a little "3 day quick start" tomorrow!
It actually came with the program i'm already doing!
