I'm a total sucker for monthly boxes - but this one takes the cake.

Monthly subscription boxes are seriously ALL the rage right now!!
and I am SO DANG EXCITED to share this with all of you...
that there is now a pregnancy "bump box" available!!!
Is this not the most genius idea ever?!
I can't think of a better or more exciting time in life to receive a monthly box of goodies
all catered towards your growing bump!

Each box is tailored towards your due date which is probably my favorite part!
I just turned 19 weeks this past Sunday and have been on the hunt for some kind of
lotion to help prevent me from getting stretch marks!
I was SO pumped to see that my box had a product in it for JUST that.
I used my bath bomb right away,
my lower back and feet were aching like crazy after a day full of errands
and a warm bath with essential oils was exactly what I needed!

Oh, and you better believe i'm throwing our sonogram picture of baby boy in that frame ASAP.

Whether you're a pregnant or new mama, this box is a MUST.
It also makes a perfect gift!!

Let me know if you end up subscribing or trying them out!!
Happy Tuesday Babes!

Memorial Day Weekend Recap Part II

Once all of the wedding festivities were over
and the happy couple was off to their honeymoon,
we decided to make the last day a vacation day.

Which means, BOAT DAY!

Unfortunately this suit is completely sold out everywhere,
but i'll link some other cute options for y'all below!

It was the perfect relaxing ending to our busy weekend.
That evening us girls went to a Spazmatics concert and
H O L Y C R A P
it was freaking amazing!

If you don't know who they are (I didn't before the concert) They're a band
that plays/performs 80's music.
They were such good performers and we all seriously had the best time ever.

But now it's back to reality...
I have my 10 year high school reunion this Saturday.
(wait when did I get so old)
So that should be interesting, i'm sure there will be plenty of alcohol involved.

Happy Thursday!

Fredericksburg Weekend Recap

Happy Friday!

This past weekend I got to celebrate my amazing sister in law, Michelle.
I got to spend the weekend with such an incredible group of girls
and we had SO much fun drinking wine and telling stories and just laughing our butts off.

We arrived in canyon lake Friday night and had a relaxing night in,
I got the chance to meet a lot of Michelles' close friends for the first time.
They are all SO sweet,
we spent Friday night drinking margs and catching up/getting to know each other.

Saturday was spent frolicking around the Hill Country drinking lots and lots of wine.
I wore this adorable romper with these Steve Madden wedges that i've literally been
eyeing for what seems like FOREVER now.
SO glad I caved and purchased them.

I don't think the weather could've been any better the entire weekend,
[Shout out to Jesus]
After the wineries we headed back to the house to relax before our dinner reservations.

The weekend went by WAY too fast, as it always does.
But of course i'm happy to be back home.
Hope all of you had an easy breezy week and enjoy your weekend!

Slip Dresses and Wedding Bells

First off, apologies for the blurry pics.
I've been having some issues with my camera the last few days :(

Dress: LuLus | Shoes: LuLus | Necklace: Kate Spade | Ear Rings: Pree Brulee

I can't tell y'all how excited I am that "slip dresses" are in.
They're comfy, beautiful and effortless and I am so in love with this trend right now.
I wore this little number to one of my best friends weddings this past Friday.
Everything about the wedding was stunning, Mary Beth looked absolutely breathtaking
and I couldn't be happier for her and Mike!
Unfortunately I didn't get a picture with the bride [major regrets] but I did get to
dance the night away with her and help her celebrate her new role as "wife".

Hope y'alls Monday is a good one!

Model of the month

Top: ShopMCE | Flannel: Billabong[similar] | Jeans: LuLus | Shoes: OnlineShoes

If you follow my store on Instagram
i'm sure you saw that I did a little photoshoot with one of my girlfriends recently!

and y'all...it kind of changed my life.
It's been really hard for me to grow my business Instagram, and really get the images that I want...
It's super hard to get the exact pictures that I want when i'm modeling my own clothes.
I always have a vision in mind -
What I want the picture to look like, how I want the clothes to lay on the body,
how I want the model standing, and how I want the background to be...
But being the model & having a friend (who's NOT a photographer)
take the pictures makes that a pretty hard job.
My pictures always come out decent, but just not the vision I had in mind.

I'm not at the point where I can hire a professional model,
BUT I do have some pretty gorgeous friends.
The only problem is....
I'm only off on Mondays, and well the  majority of my friends work on Mondays.
However, the other week I convinced one of my friends to "work from home"
so she could model for me!

and guys...it was A W E S O M E.

I was able to direct and use my creativity to get the exact shots I wanted,
and I seriously loved every minute of it.
and my friend Liz had an awesome time as well.
I mean what girl wouldn't enjoy wearing cute clothes and being a model for a day?!
Which is how I came up with the idea of....
Having a different model every month.
A Model of the Month if you will.

So with all of that being said...
If any of you babes live in the Houston area and would be interested
in being a model of the month (which is actually just a day or 2 of LOTS of picture taking)
let me know and we can talk details!

Would love to meet some of you!

Halloween 2016

Halloween totally snuck up on me this year.
I guess all our friends are getting old too, cuz it kind of snuck up on all of us.
We kept it pretty low key this year.
Stayed in Friday, then grabbed some friends and went to Phobia Haunted Houses Saturday night.
Y'all, I'm not cut out for anything scary -- I can't even watch scary movies.
I'm really surprised I didn't pee myself or pass out during the walk through.

But even though it was scary, its was actually super super fun,
I screamed a lot, and laughed a lot, and even did some running -
so when you think about it, I kind of got myself a good work out in.
I'll definitely be going back next year!

In other news, Charley was a ghost for halloween,
and she was NOT thrilled about it.

Another day of pumpkins

Sunday was actually a pretty random day for us.
We had originally planned on going out on the boat -
but ended up meeting up with some friends to watch football instead!
We went to Luke's Icehouse and watched the Saints game with 2 other couples.
The weather was absolutely gorgeous so we sat outside
and got to enjoy the cool air while we watched the game!
After eating a ridiculous amount of fried foods we decided to change up the scenery!

We headed to a little place called Kung Fu and kept the party going.
After a few drinks the girls ended up convincing the boys to take us to
[what we thought would be] a pumpkin patch farm,
Well - let's just say it definitely was NOT a pumpkin patch farm lol
But we still managed to snap a few cute pics with pumpkins!

Although there were a few mishaps - it was a great day.
Love these friends of ours!!

Pumpkin Painting Party

Guys, this weekend was so much fun!

After work Saturday Kyle and I headed to the Woodlands for a family night.

Kyle's cousin, Krissa, had the genius idea of a family pumpkin painting party.

We had such a fun night, and if you follow me on snapchat (Monicaleeee)
I'm sure you got to see my masterpiece!
Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos of all of our finished pumpkins.
And by that, I mean I didn't take any pictures of our finished pumpkins -
because mine was absolutely terrible --
I had a goal,
and that was to have a fuchsia leopard print pumpkin with some gold throughout...
Well, my pumpkin looked like it had a severe peanut allergy and was breaking out in hives so..
That's that.

But it was still a great night with the fam.

Sunday was also an unplanned day full of pumpkins.
Stay tuned cuz i'm kind of obsessed with the outfit I wore -- mainly the shoes.
And I think some of you may need them.

Another birthday celebration

After my day of rollerblading Saturday I had to head back home
and get ready for a surprise birthday dinner for the lil sis.

We all headed to a Mexican restaurant in the woodlands
and sipped on some margs until she arrived.
Had a nice little dinner catching up with everyone and then decided to move the
party to Baker St. Pub.

The party lasted until about midnight...
we're all gettin' pretty old.
But hey, it was fun while it lasted.

Bringing an outfit post to y'all tomorrow, make sure you stop by!

Mummies and Rollerblading

Work has been a tad slow lately so I decided to take a "personal day" on Saturday.
The weather was perfect - therefore my girlfriend Maggie & I took full advantage.
I mean, What's better than a little champagne & rollerblading?

Before we went rollerblading we had a little picnic in the back of her car,
A few snacks - mostly champagne.
The Houston Museum of Natural Science had a Mummy exhibit going on that we decided to go to!
Now if i'm being honest, we were both a tad disappointed,
it was cool while it lasted, but unfortunately there just wasn't much to look at at the exhibit,
the mummies that we saw were very cool - I guess we were just hoping to see more!
After the exhibit we hopped on over back to the car for more snacks [champagne]
and that's when the party really started....

I really wish it wasn't such a pain for me to upload videos on to here because y'all...
We were SO embarrassing.
I haven't laughed so hard in a REALLY long time,
there was one point where I started to fall and grabbed her arm and took her down with me...
we both sat on the ground awkwardly silent laughing for a good 5 minutes
and I may or may not have peed a little.

After the blading it was time for lunch, so we headed to brown bag deli for a nice big sandwich!
and then frozen yogurt afterwards of course....

Weekends are totally my favorite.

Sunday Evening Adventures.

This Sunday Kyle and I were doing our usual "Sunday"...
Ya know, sitting on the couch watching tv,
then eating, then sitting on the couch watching tv, then more eating.

It was about 4:30 and I leaned over and said,
"Lets drive to San Antonio & take Charley on a hike"
I was 100% dead serious, and he was actually considering it for a second.
But then - he had a better idea.

I've been begging Kyle to just take Charley & I out on the boat since he got the boat back in July.
I remember years ago, when we hadn't been dating long, he took me out on his grandpas boat,
just the two of us - and it was one of the best days of my life.

Wellp, this Sunday definitely topped it.
We grabbed the girl and a bottle of wine & headed out to the river about 5pm,
It was raining, but we didn't care.

We drove around for a bit and then Charley and I jumped in and swam for a little while.

There are these little beaches of sand along the side of the river so we decided to park,
andddddddddd we discovered my new most favorite place EVER.

It was unbelievably peaceful, and beautiful, and JUST the escape we needed.

We walked around & drank some wine,
Then sat down for a bit and talked...

It was just the random adventure that we needed.

Celebrating Sis

Top: Dainty Hooligan Jeans: Similar Necklace: Pree Brulee Heels: LuLu*s

Last Friday we celebrated my sisters 30th birthday!
{a little early}
She rented out a private room at Pinots Palette
and it was way more fun than I was anticipating.
These places are byob so of course I brought bae...

We got there expecting there to be no food and there was a massive tray of chick fil a nuggets
as well as these beauties...
Therefore we were very well nourished for the class.

We painted a sunset, which yes, sounds simple..but you are all so very wrong.
Please go grab a paint brush and attempt to paint a swinging hammock & then get back to me.
God was really looking out for me in this photo, shout out to Jesus for the perfect lighting.
;)

Once the class was over we googled the closest bar to us
and ended up at a strange little place called Blue Lagoon.
We walked in and it was like everything including the music just stopped.
This was definitely a bar full of regulars and we were SO out of place.
BUT we ended up staying, I mean it was karaoke night so how could we not?!

Blue Lagoon definitely left us with sore abs and some interesting memories.
Happy early birthday sis!
