R+F Review

Holy moly I woke up feeling REFRESHED this morning!
Bri reached out to me on instagram and offered me these R+F samples and holy cow,
was not expecting them to be THIS great.
I have super sensitive skin, so i'll admit, it did take me a while to convince myself to try them.
But now i'm SO glad that I did, and already need more.

I am a major lover of all things exfoliating and this micro-dermabrasion paste quickly
became one of my top favorites.
So... I took videos applying it, but they're a little ridiculous so i'll spare y'all.

I applied the micro-dermabrasion paste first,
I was a little worried the scrub would be too intense and leave my face red and irritated.
NOPE.
I could've lathered my face in that stuff all day long.
It smelled amazing, and it was the perfect mixture of a scrub and moisturizer.

After scrubbing my face down I applied the night serum,
which left my skin feeling extra soft.
Bri also sent me a lip serum and when I kissed Kyle goodnight
he came right back in for more to get some more of the serum haha

I've honestly been wanting to try R+F for years
but was so afraid it wouldn't be worth the investment.
I'm so thankful Bri was kind enough to send me some samples,
I now have a way better idea of what their products are like and I know my skin can handle them.

If any of you have been interested in R+F but afraid to try it PLEASE reach out to Bri.
She is such a sweetheart and will answer any question you may have!
Feel free to call her at 551 427 2911
Or shoot her an email at BriVitulano@gmail.com
Or just head to her site!

This post was supposed to go up this Monday but it's been a crazy week.
Tomorrow i'm re capping my weekend in the Hill country and then,
I've got some exciting news to share with y'all next Monday!!!

Season of Celebrating

Hello Lovers!

| Dress |

I've noticed I tend to do this thing, where I blog for a week,
and then you don't hear from me for like two months...
SORRY BOUT THAT Y'ALL.

There has been SO much going on.
Kyle and I are moving into our new home next week!
We couldn't be more excited.
SO many of my friends are getting engaged and married and it seems like
we have some sort of shower or party every single weekend,
which is definitely not a bad thing!
We're going through a season of celebrating and I aint mad about it.

Kyles stepsister Taryn got married a couple weeks ago and it was so gorgeous.
The reception was at Moffit Oaks and it was basically every girls pinterest dream wedding.

The mother of the bride actually planned a flash mob for the reception and
it was a HUGE hit and seriously so cool.

This weekend I'll be heading to the Hill Country for my sister in laws bachelorette weekend.
Her wedding is at the end of this month and it's going to be so freaking perfect.

I'm still adjusting to life back at home.
Missing my salon friends SO much,
and missing that face to face interaction with my customers.

So there's a little update for you all!
Happy Monday friends, hope this week treats you well!

Seeing the good.

One thing i've always known, but really realized this year,
is that, everyone, every single person is fighting some sort of battle.
Some may be big, and some may be small,
and some may be small but seem big to that individual.
But it doesn't matter.
Something may seem super simple and small to me,
but it could feel like the world is ending to someone else.
We all have our struggles, and none of them look the same.

This year I really want to try and keep that in mind at all times.
For whenever i'm frustrated with a friend,
or family member, or confused by someones actions.
Instead of jumping to conclusions or assuming the worst,
I just want to remember and remind myself that we're all human,
and half the time have no idea what we're doing...
and half the time we're just trying to make it through the end of the day.

Sometimes it's hard not to make assumptions,
or judge, or feel jealous, and that's just human nature.
But this year my goal, starting today, is to see the good.
To fully embrace myself, flaws and all, and be thankful for what God has blessed me with.
To stop looking at others in jealousy.
To search for the good in every situation.
To comfort my friends/family in whatever battle their facing.
To not compare peoples battles but help them overcome them.
To trust God fully, and not constantly rely on myself.
To give back, to those who are in need and those who have given to me.

It may not be the very beginning of the year,
but it's never too late for a fresh start.

Engagement Season

I took a little break from blogging the last few weeks,
and I feel like I have SO much to fill y'all in on!

But the most exciting thing is...
My little sister got E N G A G E D!!!!
I had the honor of hiding and capturing the moment for them,
It seriously meant so much to me that Michelle's fiancĂ©
trusted me to play such a big role on their special day.

Here's a little tiny glimpse.

After the proposal he had all of her closest friends and family waiting to surprise her.
He did SUCH a great job!

It is officially engagement season y'all!!
hehehe

Hump Day thoughts.

Lately I find myself being stumped on what to write about,
of course I've always got my outfits to share -
but I typically like my writing to be from me, something personal,
and not just me describing why I chose my outfits and what I like about them.

So instead of blabbing about something random, I'll get into the real stuff.
So, here we go.

Random but real thoughts - from yours truly.

Being an adult is tough.
Bills are like REALLY annoying.
The market right now for buying a house, UGH - don't even get me started.
I've been feeling extra thankful for the health of my family & loved ones lately.
Sometimes I concern myself with how obsessed I am with my dog.
Making a baby is not as easy as your parents always told you when you were a teenager.
I'm sick & tired of Gods timing being so different than mine,
but goodness I sure am learning & growing from it.
I think my caffeine addiction has randomly disappeared, like out of nowhere.
I got home at almost 8 last night and still cooked dinner for Kyle and I
[that's huge for me]
I want like 10 new pairs of tennis shoes, but I don't really work out anymore so...
I can't decide what to be for Halloween, think Kyle & I may be Jack & Coke.
Anyways...

I said I wasn't going to blab and I totally blabbed, a lot.
but oh well, this little blog is mine, and I can blab if I want too.

Cutie Booties & A Blog Makeover

Top: La Chic Boutique | Jeans: LuLus | Booties: ShopMCE  | Necklace: TerrieWardJewelry | Choker: LuLus

Y'all these booties JUST arrived in my shop and holy crap they are adorbs.
Of course I had to keep a pair for myself, per usual.
The heel is the perfect height and I can wear them all day long and be comfortable.
I'm totally loving the color as well,
I'm thinking my next outfit with them will be an all black number paired with a vest.
Can't wait to show y'all!

SOOOO in other news,
My blog is currently under construction.
My little girl is getting a makeover and I couldn't be more excited about it!
I'll be getting a new domain and everything so y'all get readyyyyyyy!
You're going to be seeing me in blogland a lot more often.
The update won't be complete until late October,
but i'll still be blogging in the meantime!

Where are some of your favorite places to buy booties?!
Leave a comment letting me know!!

Why I had to unfollow some of my favorite fashion bloggers...

Top: Tobi Jeans: Paige Denim via Nordstrom [similar] Heels: LuLus Necklace: LuLus

Y'all I totally forgot I had this top and found it while desperately
searching my closet for an outfit to wear yesterday...
Don't you love finding hidden treasures in your own closet?!
It's definitely supposed to be a crop top, but my torso is like 2 inches long, so hey...
a normal top it will be.

These jeans are a perfect example of a splurge item for me.
I was able to score these when they were on sale so they were just a little over $100,
but I totally wear them multiple times a week, ESPECIALLY come Fall.
I am not one to spend ridiculous amounts of money on 1 item of clothing.
Although i'm a huge fashion lover & own a boutique i've just never been all about
brand name anything.
I'd rather have 5 pairs of adorable & versatile heels than one pair of gorgeous heels that I can tell people are Jimmy Choo.
Now hey, don't get me wrong!
No shame on you brand name gals, you do you boo.
Heck if I had the money maybe I would feel differently...
But right now, for me personally -- it's all about looking fabulous on a budget.

I have such a hard time following certain fashion bloggers,
I actually had to go through my instagram
and click the dreaded "unfollow" button on multiple of my favorite accounts.
WHY? you ask...

Well, Let me tell ya...
There's really nothing worse than falling in love with an outfit you see -
only to click the link to the website and see that the adorable little shirt that you can't wait to purchase costs $300...
oh and the jeans? $548.
Don't even get me started on the shoes...
I could go on and on...
Liiiiiikkkeeeee.....c'mon.
I'm a 27 year old small business owner --
I want to look & feel good.
I want my clothes to be well made.
I want to be trendy and unique and be able to showcase my personal style.
But I don't have ridiculous amounts of money to drop.

Basically, to keep it simple for y'all.
I clicked unfollow because it was depressing, and I found myself continually disappointed.
Disappointed that I couldn't afford that super cute top, or those gorgeous shoes.

SO, with that being said.
I really really hope that all you girls following me never feel that way.
I hope you can look at my outfits and be inspired by them and know that you can look
trendy and fabulous without spending crazy amounts of money.
There are so many amazing boutiques and shops out there that sell unique and beautiful clothing
at a G R E A T price.

haha no but really...for those of you that think you need to have lots of money to stay on trend.
I'm here to prove you wrong!
And hopefully I can bring a smile to your face while doing so.

Happy Thursday Everyone!

Hump Day Feels.

Top: MCE Jeans: LuLus Hoodie: Forever21[similar] Booties: Zara Choker: LuLus

Happy Hump Day Y'all.
My hump is currently on fire because I'm starting to work out again after about 3 weeks off.
Taking 3 weeks off of exercising is definitely not recommended,
my body is very very unhappy with me.
But hey, it happens to the best of us.

Today totally feels like Monday...
It took me about 2.5 hours to get into work because of traffic
 and I have the worst headache E V E R.
But, on a positive note, I love my job that it took me 2.5 hours to get too,
so -- it could be worse.

What do y'all want to see more of on here?!
Leave a comment or email me and let me know.
Gotta keep my readers happy and coming back :)

Hope everyone has a fantastic Wednesday

Peplum Fanatic

Top: ShopMCE Jeans: LuLu's Shoes: Nordstrom

Happy Tuesday!
I'm in a G R EA T mood this week because Kyle & I get to go in a mini vacation this weekend.
Kyle's cousin Corey is turning 30 and celebrating by having a bunch of friends/family
get together and renting a house on the Frio river.
(praise the Lawd)
I'm long overdue for a vacation.

But anyways, let's chat about this outfit.
Every single time I wear these jeans I get tons of compliments.
It never fails, people always say how cute they are or ask where there from etc.
Well, my friends, they're from LuLu*s and the brand is BlankNYC.
They fit bigger, so size down, and i'll be honest and admit they do stretch out a bit throughout the day.
BUT they're really too cute to pass up.
These shoes were spotted on one of my favorite bloggers and I just HAD to get them.
If y'all don't follow Ashley, you must go do so right.this.instant.
She is such a sweet girl and truly has the best sense of style.
Whenever i'm in a funk I always find myself looking to her for a little outfit inspo.

This top is an oldie but a goodie.
It's from my store and I still love it just as much as the day it first came in.
I've always been a peplum fanatic, and I don't really ever see that changing.
I'm sure peplum styles will change throughout the years but I just can't see it leaving us for good.
To me, it's just so classic and cute, to others maybe not.
But hey, to each their own ;)

Hope y'all are proud of me for blogging 2 consecutive days in a row HA!
Who knows, maybe i'll knock out a full week!

Hope you beauties have a great day!
